At Wakuwakura, I have been snowboarding at Hakuba Valley for many years, so I can take you to the best spots at each ski resort.
So you can go to two ski resorts in one day.
Please enjoy Hakuba’s vast and Japaw snow.
MADARAO AREA
I will guide you around the Madarao area. Madarao has a wide variety of courses.
It is a vast area with two adjacent ski resorts:
✅Madarao Mountain Resort (https://www.madarao.jp/ski)
✅Tangram Madarao Tokyu resort (https://www.tangram.jp/)
This area is famous for powder snow tree runs and natural rerrain.
We will guide you through such a vast area in an efficient and fun route.
Having lived in Madarao for decades, I will show you how to enjoy its wide slopes.
“Soba Shioiri” is a recommended soba restaurant in Iiyama City.
MYOKO AREA
This area includes
✅Myoko suginohara ski resort (https://www.princehotels.co.jp/ski/myoko/winter/)
✅Ikenotaira Onsen Alpenblick resort (https://www.alpenblick-resort.com/)
✅Akakuraonsen ski area Akakura Onsen (https://akakura-ski.com/)
✅akakan Akakura Kanko Resort ski resort (https://akr-ski.com/)
✅Sekionsen Seki Onsen ski resort (http://www.sekionsen.com/)
Wakuwakura allows you to move between ski resorts according to your plans.
You can do a long run of 8.5km in Suginohara.
Seki Onsen Ski Resort has only two lifts. However, as it is said to be a sacred place for snowboarding, there are endless ways to enjoy the terrain and tree runs.
It’s one of my favorite ski resorts.
For lunch, we recommend “Taube” Genovese.
Alpenblick, a local beer in Ikenotaira, is my favorite. I’ll definitely buy it and take it home after skiing.
